KLX Inc Lead Material Handler (Bell) - Amarillo, TX in Amarillo, Texas


Under limited supervision, supervises, assists and coordinates daily work activities with department supervisor and/or manager. Communicates cross functionally and directly with customers and performs assigned jobs related to the storing, retrieval and shipping of parts from specific locations in the warehouse area. Moving merchandise within the warehouse, verifying information on the box and/or paperwork and identifying locations where parts and/or customer orders are to be placed. Manages & prepares reporting on regular basis.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Places parts in proper location after identifying and verifying part numbers

  • Identifies cartons by part number, uses a computer or laptop, cart, cycle counts product, hand scanner and PC

  • Receive parts and disburse to proper bins

  • Matches paperwork to box and prepares orders for billing / shipping

  • Prepare delivery & export paperwork for customer pick and/or delivery (if any)

  • Process Orders and update KLX ERP system and/or customer portal

  • Communicate with internal & external customers and vendors

  • Performs system approval such as but not limited to system passcode for order & inventory processing

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent

  • 4-6 year's of related work experience

  • Current valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • Experience in international trade, export, & logistics

  • Able to fluently read, write and speak English

  • Proficient MS office applications ability (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

  • Work Experience in International Trade, Export & Logistics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Warehouse Experience

  • Experience operating material handling equipment

  • Analytical and reporting skills

  • Ability to solve complex issues
