Job Description/Position Overview:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Export Control:

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Position Summary:

Exercises appropriate signature authority and negotiates standard agreements utilizing approved contract terms and conditions. Supports the research and drafting of proposal and contractual language supporting the product of service, delivery processes and conducts document reviews. Participates in the development, documentation and execution of business plans. Supports auditor requests identifies data for audit activities and identifies issues, assists in development of corrective actions and implementation of solutions. Participates in the assessment of process risks and control adequacy. Maintains business processes and data integrity. Supports documentation of guidance related to new and updated contractual regulatory requirements and command media. Monitors/reconciles and ensures compliance in the performance of contractual and business commitments, company policies, laws and regulations. Supports special requests for approval and exception, provides contract performance status and performs contract closeout activities. Coordinates with other internal functional disciplines. Supports contracts administration.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance for contract business awarded to the organization; evaluate large and complex data files of 20K+ lines and contract language. Present comparative analytics to make sound business decisions while possessing the interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact with; persuade and negotiate with departments such as Sales, Supply Chain, and Quality concerning price, quality, and related issues.

  • Manage and monitor contractual requirements delivering critical information to cross functional departments. Contractual requirements include; cost targets, initial provisioning detail, quality requirements such as DFAR, ITAR, approved sources, certification requirements, and inventory level requirements including stocking strategies to be applied at the part level of each contract.

  • Support and manage contract renewal activity, leading efforts in early contract renewal, retention of existing business as well as growth of new contractual items; execute contractual requirements such as customer liability.

  • Lead and support business by creating and maintaining special customer monthly, metric, and as-needed reports to be used in communications with Executive Leadership, Sales, Supply Chain and Finance.

  • Develop logical approaches and suggestions to address complex issues, recommend and implement innovative ways and/or processes to manage special contract requirements and reduce cost; for circumstances such as value-added services, conflicting terms/expiration dates, and system limitations.

  • Support internal and external audit requirements through excellent record retention. Data integrity is critical.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

  • 2-4 years of related work experience

  • Experience in lieu of education

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel skills

  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of computer data

  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities

  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment with a high degree of accuracy

  • Strong presentation skills

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 4-6 years of related work experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Business Administration or related field of study or experience in lieu of education
