Job Description/Position Overview:

Thin position requires to work onsite 100%. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at above mentioned location.

Export Control:

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Position Summary:

Integrates contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities. Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Performs analysis and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.

Support the customer quality engineering activities within the department.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the customer liaison for compliance to customer quality requirements and customer satisfaction

  • Monitor and track customer quality data.

  • Responsible for root cause corrective action (RCCA) and verify implementation of Corrective actions. Ensure RCCA’s meet internal and customer requirements.

  • Monitor and report on customer scorecards.

  • Supports continual improvement efforts both internally and externally.

  • Initiate purges and ensure containment is taken within 48 hours.

  • Assists in the writing and reviewing of technical and performance specifications, quality plans, sampling plans, and inspections procedures.

  • Support compliance to Quality Management System procedures. Assist in internal and Customer audits.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering or related field of study

  • 1-2 years of related work experience

  • Equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience

  • MS Office skills (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Six Sigma certification

  • Certifications in ASQ-CQE-CQA

  • Knowledge of FAA regulations
