This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Position Summary:

Provide leadership in developing strategies to enhance the overall quality and on time delivery of incoming product through supplier management and development. Serves as a leader and a resource regarding supplier quality issues, problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working in conjunction with the Supplier Performance Team, coordinate the Supplier creation process such that all requests for the use of new suppliers is completed in a timely manner.

  • Manage all aspects of the vendor account maintenance process to ensure the organization has a complete and up to date record of all certifications, approvals, etc. for the whole of the utilized Supply Chain.

  • Produce monthly Supplier Performance data, including but not limited to Supplier Scorecards and On Holds and Rejection data for use by the Supplier Performance Team and distribution internally and to the Supply Chain.

  • Compile analytical Supplier Performance data as requested by the Supplier Performance Team and work with the team to provide focused areas for action and improvement, both internally and within the Supply Chain.

  • Generate periodic strategic Supplier Risk Analysis and/or similar data to drive the Supplier Performance team's objectives and goals with the Supply Chain to improve Supplier Performance for the organization.

  • Manage and maintain the organization's Self Release audit and maintenance processes and report any areas of concern to the Supplier Performance Team for action implementation.

  • Manage the Supplier Performance visit and audit schedule to ensure the Supplier Performance Team undertakes such tasks in a timely manner and that the schedule is a true reflection of visits and audit completions, actions and closure status.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field of study(preferred)

  • 2-4 years of related work experience.

  • Experience in QA inspection, preferably from within the Aerospace or Medical industry.

  • Supplier Performance or related experience.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication skills required.

  • Strong work ethic.

  • Advanced knowledge and application of Excel. Proficiency in all other MS Office applications (i.e. Access, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Ability to take on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and achieve business results.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering, Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field of study

  • 4-6 years of related work experience.

  • Knowledge of AS9100/9120 Standards.

  • Internal and/or External Auditing training/qualifications.

    Travel:

    This position require travel at times.
