Marketing Associate

The Hope Group, a division of KLX, Inc. and a leading supplier of hydraulic, fluid connectors and automation motion control components / system solutions, seeks a self-motivated Marketing Assistant support our B2B digital and email marketing efforts for the purposes of customer outreach & engagement to drive sales lead generation. This position will assist with the brainstorming for and creation of content for digital media, email marketing campaigns, trade show events, and company newsletter articles. As the lynchpin of customer outreach and engagement, this individual will also have hands-on responsibility and manage our Customer Satisfaction program.

Essential functions of the position include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Inside Sales team with prospecting activities and engage current and potential customers through both digital and traditional channels.

  • Implement social media plans and email marketing campaigns.

  • Develop marketing content for the website and social media platforms.

  • Assist with email marketing campaigns to facilitate with the growth of the eCommerce and retail business as well as growth markets such as Industrial Automation/Robotics and Life Sciences.

  • Assist with lead generation efforts and sales blitz activities.

  • Assist in the production of media including signage, trade show displays, and marketing collateral.

  • Engage with current or potential customers and complementary businesses on social media.

  • Monitor and process incoming sales leads.

  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance, facilitate and manage Customer Satisfaction survey tools and output.

  • Create and schedule email marketing campaigns.

  • Produce campaign measurement reports using Google Analytics.

  • Accurately record data into CRM database.

  • Assist with administrative marketing tasks including database and prospect list management.

  • Support The Hope Group Business Management System [BMS] procedures and work instructions by following established processes and supporting their continual improvement.

  • Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or instructed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required. College degree a plus in a related field a plus.

  • A minimum of 2 years similar experience.

  • Solid experience utilizing and working with social media platforms.

  • Proven customer service skills.

  • Ability to communicate positively, professionally and effectively by telephone and email.

  • Above average computer experience with Microsoft Office and related software and system tools that support the marketing process including google analytics

  • Team player, attention to detail, and can-do demeanor are a must.
